To misunderstand the grace of God is to see God through a faulty lens: you can make out His form but not His character this four part series helps us understand God’s plan of redemption and regeneration as an act of His grace to save us and give glory to Himself alone.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8
Grace is “the undeserved, unearned and merited favor of God bestowed upon sinful men.” 1 John 4:16 tells us that God is Love! God’s plan is based on His love for us not His desire to punish us. He has gone to great lengths to love us.
Often legalism blinds us to these truths. Legalism denies the work of the Cross! Legalism always brings bondage, but grace brings freedom and liberty! Part of this process is called regeneration. The Lord revives our spirit literally so we can come to Him and receive His Love and forgiveness.
